Makeup Monday | UNBOXING: GLAMOURBOX March 2013

It's Makeup day!!! Yay!!! Yes, Mondays today will be all about Makeup and Beauty. I decided to do it this way so that I can have my thoughts organized and have my readers something to look forward to every day. A "themed" topic for each day that is. I know, I know… It is a bit challenging. But hey, I LOVE CHALLENGES! ;) So here goes for MONDAY.

Today was spent half day at the office, then I had a day off afterwards. Went to Landmark Makati to check on tools for my hair coloring (Yes, I'm going to color my hair soon… @.@ *nervous*) and more tools and makeup for an upcoming Bridal Makeup gig.

But the most exciting part for today was really what came on delivery... :) My very first Glamourbox!!! :D (See their site for details)



Unboxing got me a bit nervous and excited at the same time. I know I'll be getting some worthy products but then I have this thought in my head… "Will I love what's inside?" @.@ Since it was my first time to subscribe to this type of Makeup ventures, I am really curious and hoping that it would really be worth it.

Well I believe that's the whole point of subscribing to this. The EXCITEMENT. :)  Which I really really like. So let's proceed to UNBOXING.

I loved the letter that came with it. This month is "ALL ABOUT US": Celebrating the International Women's Month.

I really loved this one, I'm a fan of eye pencils and eye makeup in general. And I know Eye of Horus is a very good brand for eye makeups. So I'm very happy with this.

Pevonia Gentle | Exfoliating Cleanser | Full Size: 150ml | Php 2,950

I'm not really fond of cleansers but for my oily skin I think I'll try this one. It's exfoliating which is good to remove dry skin.

Heynature | BB Creams | Full Size: 40g | Php 1,300

Heynature | Aqua Brightening Gel | Full Size: 80g | Php 1,750

I'm not really a fan of BB Creams and Brightening Gels (especially when you get them in sachets) but I'll give each a try. I really have no idea what makes the BB Creams different from one another. But then, I'll be giving it a try and probably make a review afterwards. :)

This is so straightforward. It’s just a hand and body lotion. I like its compact size, I can keep one at the office. Then bring some when I'm on travel.

I seldom go crazy about perfumes, I have just try one scent, if I love it then I'm hooked. But now, I got this samples for other perfumes. I am now trying Ralph Lauren, and so far, I love its fresh scent. :) Since their Eau De Toilette, the scent stays for almost half a day.

So everything was a bit new to me, except for the AVON lotion.

Will I subscribe for April 2013? I'll think about it. :)

I have subscribed already for BDJ Box for May 2013. Let's see how their box will go. :)

And since I had a mini Makeup Haul today, here's what I got:

YES! Finally a Stipple Brush and E.L.F. Primer. :) All for my Pre-Nup and Bridal Makeup Gig this April. ;) Everything was very cheap, except for Maybelline which is a mid-range drugstore brand.

So it's really a Makeup Monday for me! ♥
